The story centers on Issei Hyodo, a perverted high school student from Kuoh Academy who desires to be a harem king and is killed by his first date, revealed to be a fallen angel, but is later revived as a devil by the red haired devil princess Rias Gremory to serve her and her devil family. Tokyo MX, SUN, KBS, TVA, BS11 (censored)Ĥ (+ 3 short story collection: DX.So although the negatives are what they are, it didn't make me regret watching and the fight scenes and new characters really are a nice bonus. Positives: Story was awesome, fan service great, fight scenes really epic and awesome, new heroes and villains incorporated, the creativity is awesome, really enjoyable Season can't wait for more as I heard 2 more Seasons are already confirmed! S1-2 built up a lot of the characters we know already so of course some will take the back seat but all of them are still included. I feel the creators took some huge gambles this season, not all of them paid off as well as I liked, but the ones that did were amazing! Plus, it's a show that has to develop 12 main characters over 12 24 min episodes as well as have a good storyline. So yeah, the negatives have some issues but although that's the way it is, I still wanted to watch each episode and each episode kept me hooked and drawn in. Negatives: Story pacing uneven, some characters got no development, story gets confusing as some critical plot points are glossed over, content felt rushed or crammed This Season was awesome in my opinion! The negative reviewers have some valid points but I think they are being harsh with the ratings.
